SALSK BITUMEN TERMINAL

The TA Company Group successfully put into operation a modern automated bitumen terminal with a capacity of 20k tons in the Salsk,Rostov region, in 2014.

The automated system which is designed for the reception of bitumen materials from all modes of transport (road, rail and water), storage, pumping, dosing and loading into transportable containers for bitumen, as well as for the production of a wide range of bitumen materials

BITUMEN MARINE TERMINALS: PROJECT RELEVANCE

The main bitumen materials market trend is by far the falling demand on the domestic market, due to a decrease in the level of road construction industry funding.

In connection with the situation there was a need to find and develop new sales channels, intended to keep bitumen production at the current level for the further successful development of the industry.

By expanding its geographical presence TA Company Group has created a plan for the bitumen materials export development by means of a bitumen marine terminals network, which will provide access to global markets.

Today the industry urgently needs to develop a new bitumen transshipment infrastructure for Russia by sea.

DEVELOPMENT PLAN

Geographical location of the marine terminals and the innovative technology used in their construction, must ensure maximum effectiveness of the project, in which the three terminals will be able to fully cover the needs of the industry in bitumen exports.

TECHNICAL REQUIRMENTS TO MARINE TERMINAL AREA

Because sanitary protection zone of the base should be located not less than 1,000 meters from the border area to homes, schools, etc.
